Brenda Patton
Partner
Brenda grew up in the West Valley and is a proud Lumberjack alumni, having earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Arizona University. She also holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. After 16 years in various corporate roles, she founded her own accounting services company and later teamed up with Susan to start JDP Accounting in 2008. In her spare time, Brenda enjoys cruising, reading, watching movies, camping, and exploring the outdoors with her husband on their side-by-side.
Susan Johnson
Partner
Susan is a native of Arizona and an alumna of Arizona State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business. Before co-founding JDP Accounting with Brenda in 2008, Susan held various positions in accounting and finance at a large international corporation. In her free time, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
Danielle Lawrence
Accounting Associate
Danielle grew up in Arizona and attended Northern Arizona University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, followed by her MBA. She began her career in auditing at a public accounting firm before joining JDP Accounting. Danielle currently resides in central Texas, in the heart of Aggie country. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, extended family and friends, and playing with her dogs.
Heidi Duso
Accounting Associate
Heidi is a native of Arizona and a graduate of Northern Arizona University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance. She brings over 15 years of experience in the accounting profession and is dedicated to delivering accurate and reliable financial services. Heidi currently resides in Maine, where she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Marisa Held
Accounting Associate
Marisa is from Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. She currently resides in North Carolina with her husband, an active-duty service member. In her free time, Marisa enjoys spending time with her children and supporting the military community.
